YORK COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is investigating after a woman died while in custody in York County on Wednesday. According to the York County Sheriff’s Office, the 40-year-old woman was at the detention center since Feb. 19, 2015, on charges of possession of marijuana and fentanyl. Authorities report shortly after 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, York County detention center staff reportedly discovered the inmate unresponsive. After checking her vitals, the sheriff’s office said life-saving measures were initiated. EMS was called to the scene and transported the woman to an area hospital.…
