HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Governor Josh Shapiro held a press briefing on Monday to discuss the status of the federal funding freeze. The Governor talked about how the fund freeze impacts “key priorities across Pennsylvania.” Nearly two weeks ago Shapiro sued the Trump administration to release about $2 billion in frozen funds. The Governor argued that presidents can not unilaterally halt funding that’s already been approved and appropriated by Congress. “These are not issues that are up for debate.
