Rita Faye Edwards Obituary, Death; – A 75-year-old woman from Birmingham lost her life in a two-vehicle collision in Pinson on February 19. The victim has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as Rita Faye Edwards. The incident occurred on Alabama Highway 51 at the intersection with Pinson Boulevard. Edwards was transported to UAB Hospital, where she subsequently passed away. According to the coroner, she was the sole occupant and driver of her vehicle. SALISBURY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An 18-year-old man has lost his life after a shooting in the early hours of Thursday, Salisbury Police confirm. Around 2:25 a.m. on Feb. 20, officers were called to Tilman Street, a residential area, where they found 18-year-old Emmanuel Houston Jr. shot.
