COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCBD) — South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) will deliver his eighth State of the State address Wednesday night in Columbia. UpShot, owned by Zawyer Sports & Entertainment, is a four-team women’s basketball league with teams out of Savannah, Ga., Jacksonville, Fl., and recently announced Greensboro, N.C. Zawyer Sports owns the newly named Gastonia Ghost Peppers and Charlotte Checkers. OLD FORT, N.C. (WSPA) – An out of control wildfire fire has been reported off of Bat Cave Road in Old Fort. Reports say that the fire was caused by a tree falling onto a power line. Emergency crews are on scene working to contain the fire. Officials stated that the fire is currently moving toward Pine Cove Road, and that residents of Bat Cave Road, Pine Cove Road, Julia Drive, and Roy Moore Road should evacuate the area until the fire is under control.
