LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky’s Attorney General Russell Coleman made a major announcement Thursday in the battle against opioid addiction and prevention. Coleman announced nearly $20 million in grants from the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission. That commission determines where money from opioid settlements go. The money will go to 75 Kentucky organizations for drug prevention, treatment and recovery efforts. In Jefferson County, that includes ChooseWell Communities and Community Advocates for Resources and Empowerment among others. A babysitter has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a toddler to death, police say. Police officers responded to the Villa Del Sol apartment complex on the 4200 block of Channel 10 Drive, where they discovered 3-year-old Journei Ross suffering from multiple stab wounds, resulting in her death, according to 3News. One person is dead after leaving their vehicle following a crash and running into oncoming traffic on I-25 in Northern Colorado.   The Colorado State Patrol said the first crash occurred around 5:17 p.m. when a rear-end collision happened in the northbound lanes of I-25 under the Harmony Road Bridge.
