(WNCN) — A man killed while driving in Wake County near Wendell Saturday evening was making Door Dash deliveries to help support his wife and children — including a 1-year-girl, his Fayetteville family told CBS 17 Sunday. Shawn Rouse, 38, was shot and killed just before 6 p.m. Saturday in the 6200 block of Stag Trail, in a neighborhood off Edgemont Road near Wendell, according to a Wake County Sheriff’s Office news release. CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two people have been arrested in connection to the largest fentanyl seizure to date in Chester County that had the power to kill more than 800,000 people, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office. On Friday, Jan. 31, deputies used a search warrant at a house on Berryhill Road in the Edgemoor community. The person who sadly died after being struck in the parking lot of Weis Market in Lewes on Thursday has been identified as Deborah Priddy, a 63-year-old Milton resident. The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m., according to authorities, when a Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling south in the parking lot at 17232 North Village Main Boulevard. The collision occurred when Priddy was crossing the lot right in front of the Jeep. Priddy was taken to a hospital after the incident, where she passed away from her wounds.
