The North Carolina State Auditor’s office announced the launch of the new dashboard on Tuesday. CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A person was sent to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after multiple attempted traffic stops ended with the suspect being shot by an officer, according to Charlotte Mecklenburg Police. Around 2 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, officers say they tried to pull a car over several times. The incident happened just before 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, near Bessemer City-Kings Mountain Highway near Lewis Farm Road.
