WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — DC Fire and EMS (DCFD) said an American Airlines aircraft crashed into the Potomac River Wednesday night. MONROE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The owner of a now-closed Union County wedding venue has been charged with multiple felonies after being accused of defrauding couples and investors alike.  According to the Union County Sheriff’s Office, there were multiple reports of fraud in December 2024 involving Champagne Manor, a venue in the northern part of the county, and its owner Jason Lottmann. After his arrest Tuesday, is being held on a $1 million bond.
