Authorities report that a 22-year-old woman from Stillwater died in a collision on State Highway 33 in Payne County on Wednesday night. According to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report, the crash occurred around 9:15 p.m. when a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu, heading east on State Highway 33, attempted to pass four vehicles in a designated passing zone. During the maneuver, the Malibu collided head-on with a 2011 Ford F-250. The driver of the Malibu, identified as Terra Richmond, was pronounced dead at the scene. A London school has honored the memory of a “kind and popular” student who tragically lost his life after being struck by a train on his way to school. An early advocate of Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), the world’s largest humanitarian airline, Mr. Hemmings dedicated much of his life to providing aid and relief. Kevin Welton Barco, 56, was tragically struck and killed by two vehicles while crossing the road with his bicycle in Elizabeth City. The incident occurred around 6:46 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1700 block of Weeksville Road. Barco was crossing when he was hit by both vehicles, whose drivers remained at the scene. Emergency responders arrived quickly and attempted life-saving measures, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
