CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Numerous flight delays and cancellations are being seen at the Charlotte Douglas International Airport ahead of winter weather. Snow, ice and freezing rain are expected during a winter storm hitting the Charlotte area Friday afternoon. As of 11:30 a.m. Friday, over 70 flights are delayed and over 690 flights are canceled, according to FlightAware. The airport recommends passengers check the status of their flight before heading to CLT. RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — North Carolina Governor Josh Stein declared a State of Emergency Thursday afternoon in light of the Winter Weather Warning impacting much of the state Friday and into Saturday. Gov.
