CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Tuesday brought a summer feel to the Carolinas, with record-breaking high temperatures.  Charlotte was able to rise to 80 degrees on Tuesday, which shattered the previous record of 76 degrees that was set back in 1926.  This is also the second earliest day in history that Charlotte has hit 80 degrees.
