CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Two school buses were involved in a crash Friday morning in southwest Charlotte. The incident happened in the 5800 block of Nations Ford Road on Friday, Feb. 7. Queen City News was at the scene as the two buses involved were pulled off to the side of the road. Damage was observed on both school buses. CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — One person lost their life Friday morning after a shooting in northeast Charlotte, according to the Mecklenburg EMS Agency (MEDIC). The incident was first reported around 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 7 in the 400 block of Stitt Road. MEDIC says the shooting appears to have happened in a car nearby. The person who was shot sadly passed away before they could be taken to a hospital. Authorities have not said what led up to the shooting or if a suspect has been arrested.
