Baltimore, MD – Baltimore Police have made an arrest in connection with a fatal stabbing that occurred on July 10, 2024, aboard a Mass Transit bus in the Northeast District. 18-year-old Brandon Lee Adams Jr. of Baltimore has been charged with first-degree murder following the death of 14-year-old Cortez Lemon. The incident unfolded during an altercation on a bus traveling through the 4200 block of Frankford Avenue. Adams is accused of fatally stabbing Lemon. Responding officers arrived at the scene shortly after the incident, where they found Lemon suffering from life-threatening stab wounds in the 5400 block of Belair Road.…
Baltimore, MD – Following the July 11 shooting in the Eastern District, Baltimore police have apprehended 25-year-old John Edward Brown, identified as a repeat violent offender. The incident involved Brown allegedly shooting his estranged 31-year-old wife multiple times at their residence, leaving her critically injured. John Brown was taken into custody when he returned to the scene. He has been transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he faces charges of attempted first and second-degree murder, along with multiple handgun violations. Washington, DC – An arrest has been made in the case of an infant’s death that was ruled a homicide. On Saturday, February 11 2023 at approximately 6:47 p.m., Second District officers responded to the 4000 block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northwest, for a report of an unconscious infant. MPD Officers and DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services arrived at the scene, and the infant was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
