WASHINGTON, D.C. — Three suspects have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in Northwest Washington, D.C. On Sunday, at approximately 1:25 a.m., four armed suspects exited a vehicle and approached two victims walking in the 2100 block of 8th Street, Northwest. The suspects took property from the victims and fled the scene in the vehicle. Third District officers, provided with a description of the suspects’ vehicle, located and arrested three of the four suspects. BALTIMORE, MD — Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured an 18-year-old male in the Southern District. On July 19, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim. Officers found an 18-year-old male suffering from apparent non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Investigators learned that the victim was walking in the 1900 block of Harman Avenue when he heard multiple gunshots and realized he had been struck. On Sunday, at approximately 2:49 p.m., officers responded to a reported shooting in the 2600 block of Stanton Road, Southeast. Upon arrival, they found an adult male inside an apartment suffering from gunshot wounds. On July 19, at approximately 8:01 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of North Kenwood Avenue following a report of a shooting. WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two suspects have been arrested in connection with an unarmed carjacking that occurred in Northwest Washington, D.C. On Monday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., the victim was riding his moped near 14th Street and U Street, Northwest, when a group of suspects surrounded and assaulted him. The suspects removed the victim from the moped, and one fled the scene with the vehicle while the others fled on foot. Responding officers detained two suspects.
