Around 4 a.m., police responded to the 500 block of Newcomb Street, SE, to investigate reports of a shooting. On Wednesday at approximately 1:16 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to a report of a shooting at a home in the 600 block of North Potomac Street. Upon arrival, officers found a 32-year-old male with an apparent gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment.
