Baltimore, MD — Authorities are investigating a suspicious death in the Northwest District following the discovery of an unresponsive man. On July 25, at approximately 1:23 a.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Dolfield Avenue to a report of a person lying in the street. Upon arrival, officers found a 46-year-old male, unresponsive. Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. Baltimore, MD — Detectives are requesting assistance from the community to locate 78-year-old Charles Tate, who suffers from dementia. Charles Tate was last seen in the 1000 block of Wicklow Road on July 25. He is described as 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 220 lbs, and was last seen wearing a black hat, blue shirt, black sweatpants, and gray tennis shoes. Anyone with information about Charles Tate’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact the Baltimore Police Department at 443-984-7385.
Baltimore, MD — Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a triple shooting that resulted in the death of an adult male in the Northern District. On July 20, detectives determined that 37-year-old Dominic Pressley fatally wounded 30-year-old Alan Grant and injured a 27-year-old female and a 31-year-old male in the 2400 block of Loyola Northway. On July 24, Warrant Apprehension detectives located and arrested Pressley at a home in the 2000 block of East 31st Street without incident. Pressley was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree murder.
Washington, D.C. — A man has been arrested for allegedly pointing a gun at a victim in Southeast, D.C. On Monday at approximately 1:00 p.m., the suspect approached the victim in the 4200 block of Barnaby Road, Southeast. The suspect threatened the victim with a handgun before driving away. The following day, 46-year-old Douglas Proctor, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).
WASHINGTON, DC — A shooting in the 300 block of P Street in Southwest D.C., just before 11 p.m. last night, has led to a citywide alert. D.C. Police are searching for two suspects, described as Black males aged 15 to 20. Police described the first suspect as a black man wearing a shirt and khaki shorts, while the second wore a black shirt and shorts. No further information has been provided at this time. Glen Burnie, MD — Two teenagers were victims of an armed robbery late Monday night in Glen Burnie. The incident occurred around 10:30 pm on July 23, when the teens were walking along the 7400 block of Ritchie Highway. They were approached by an armed suspect described as a black male in his 30s with dreadlocks and a hat. The suspect demanded money from the teens and then fled the scene. Despite efforts by officers and a K-9 unit to canvass the area, the suspect remains at large. The Northern District Detective Unit has taken over the investigation.
Baltimore, MD—On Tuesday evening, Northern District Action Team members arrested a 17-year-old during a proactive patrol. On July 23, at around 7 p.m., detectives were patrolling the Park Heights Avenue and West Rogers Avenue area when they arrested the juvenile. The arrest led to the recovery of a .380 handgun with ammunition, controlled dangerous substances (CDS), and U.S. currency. Bronx, NY – A Bronx Papa John’s employee, recognized twice as “employee of the month,” was tragically killed early Tuesday morning in what appeared to be a mugging outside his home. Idriss Cherif El Farissy, 28, had just returned from his delivery driver shift and parked his car outside his East 176th Street apartment in Crotona Park East. Fredericksburg, VA — A Virginia man, Joseph Alfonza Jackson, 43, of Spotsylvania, has been taken into custody after a violent incident early Wednesday morning that left two people shot and one woman run over by a car. The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. Tuesday near Ashby Drive in Fredericksburg. Upon arriving, police discovered a man and a woman who had been shot multiple times.
