Allegheny County 911 reported that police and EMS units were dispatched to the 3100 block of Ashlyn Street at 6:44 a.m. The incident occurred just outside Sheraden Park, where police officers were seen securing the area. The teen victim was transported to the hospital in critical but stable condition, according to officials. On Wednesday, at approximately 7:23 p.m., a suspect entered an establishment in the 5700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from an employee, who complied. The suspect then fled the scene.
