DUMFRIES, Va. — A man was arrested in Virginia Beach nearly a week after a fatal carjacking outside a Dumfries apartment complex. Keith Anthony McBride, 41, is accused of carjacking Jose Vasquez Galvan outside the Oasis at Montclair Apartments on July 20, according to the Prince William County Police Department. During the incident, Galvan grabbed onto the gold Lexus SUV as McBride was driving in reverse. McBride allegedly crashed into another car, reversed again, and ran over Galvan before driving away. WASHINGTON — A D.C. man, Stephon Lee, has been sentenced to 129 months in prison following a spree of robberies that targeted various local businesses across the District. Lee, who entered a guilty plea on April 19, faced charges that included two counts of armed Robbery, counts of robbery, one depend of tried armed robbery, and one depend of second-diploma theft. Early on Friday, July 19, at around 2:04 a.m., a man was in his vehicle on the 1000 block of Half Street, Southeast, approached by multiple individuals. During the confrontation, one assailant brandished a rifle, compelling the victim to exit his car. The group then fled with the vehicle.
