BALTIMORE, MD – On August 5, 2024, at approximately 1:33 p.m., members of the Eastern District Action Team conducted an enforcement operation in the 1600 block of North Patterson Park Avenue. During the operation, officers arrested a 24-year-old male and seized a Glock 44 handgun with ammunition and other property. The suspect was taken into custody as part of ongoing efforts to reduce gun violence in the area.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – D.C. Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred shortly after 7 p.m. in the 1900 block of 2nd Street, Northeast. Authorities are searching for three suspects described as Black males. The first suspect wore a black hoodie and was armed with a black gun. The second suspect wore a black shirt, and the third suspect wore a green shirt. The suspects reportedly took a red scooter of unknown model with no tag. GAITHERSBURG, MD – A Germantown resident is planning an end-of-summer beach vacation after winning $100,000 on an Ultimate Cash scratch-off ticket. The Montgomery County man, a frequent player, purchased the winning $10 ticket at Best Beer, Wine & Deli in Gaithersburg. BALTIMORE, MD – Members of the Southwest District Patrol and Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested a 33-year-old male suspect on August 6 at around 9 a.m. in the 800 block of Cranston Avenue. The suspect is believed to have committed an armed robbery on July 16 in the 3900 block of Edmondson Avenue. During the July incident, the suspect allegedly assaulted a 27-year-old female victim and threatened her with a handgun before robbing her of her money. Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility for processing.

On Monday night at approximately 10:18 p.m., the Northeast District Action Team arrested a 16-year-old male in the 800 block of Belgian Avenue. During the investigation, detectives recovered a 9mm SCCY CPX-2 handgun with ammunition and additional property. The suspect was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility for processing.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Authorities are seeking assistance in identifying a suspect who allegedly attacked a victim with a metal pipe before committing a robbery in Northwest D.C. The incident occurred on July 31 in the 800 block of G Street. According to the D.C. Metro Police Department, the suspect approached the victim at approximately 2:45 a.m., asking for a cigarette and money. When the victim attempted to walk away, the suspect allegedly assaulted them with a metal pipe and subsequently stole from the victim before fleeing the scene.
