WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested two individuals for multiple theft offenses following incidents at a CVS store in Southeast D.C. On Wednesday morning, a man stole merchandise from the CVS located in the 600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Southeast. He later returned with a woman, and together they stole more items. Police arrested the pair as they exited the store. Anthony Dickey, 26, of no fixed address, and Tenisha Moss, 26, of Southeast, were taken into custody. BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland Lottery and Gaming has announced a contribution of $1.585 billion to state programs and services in Fiscal Year 2024, marking the second-largest annual transfer to the state. The contributions from casino gaming reached $824 million, while Lottery profits accounted for $699.6 million. Sports wagering and daily fantasy sports operators combined contributed $61.3 million.
