The asphalt contractor purchased the $5 winning ticket at the Dash In on 30100 Three Notch Road in Charlotte Hall. BALTIMORE, MD — Officers from the Western District Action Team made an arrest for a handgun violation during an investigation on Thursday night. On August 8, at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers were conducting an investigation in the 1300 block of North Fremont Avenue, which led to the arrest of a 26-year-old male suspect. A loaded handgun was seized during the arrest. The suspect, who is prohibited from possessing a firearm due to prior felony convictions, was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with the violation.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A retail theft in Northwest D.C. has prompted authorities to seek the community’s help in identifying two suspects captured on surveillance cameras. The incident occurred on July 17 at approximately 6:00 p.m., when two suspects entered a store in the 1700 block of 14th Street, Northwest, stole merchandise, and fled the scene.
