WASHINGTON, D.C. – A suspect has been arrested in connection with an attempted carjacking that occurred in Northwest Washington, D.C. On Friday, at approximately 9:47 p.m., a suspect approached a victim seated inside a vehicle on the 600 block of New York Avenue, Northwest. The suspect opened the driver’s side door, assaulted the victim, and demanded the car keys. The suspect was unable to steal the vehicle and fled the scene. MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. – The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) has provided new details about a fatal motorcycle accident that claimed the life of a 30-year-old man from Silver Spring over the weekend. On August 10, emergency crews responded to a crash involving a motorcycle near Lockwood Drive and Columbia Pike just before 6 p.m. According to MCPD, Christian Ronaldo Guillen was riding a black 1998 Honda CBR600 motorcycle northbound on Columbia Pike.
