Washington, D.C. – Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspect involved in an armed robbery in Southeast. On Monday, September 16, at approximately 9:29 PM, the suspect approached a victim in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue. The suspect brandished a weapon and demanded the victim’s property, which the victim surrendered. The suspect then fled the scene with the stolen items. Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, which are available for viewing. Washington, D.C. – The arrest of a suspect linked to a felony threats offense has been made following an incident on 14th Street, Northwest. On Monday, September 23, at approximately 6:20 PM, a confrontation occurred inside an establishment. During the argument, the suspect made derogatory remarks regarding the employees’ national origin while threatening them with a firearm. Officers apprehended the suspect at the scene. BALTIMORE, MD — A 35-year-old man has died following a single-vehicle crash in the Southeast District early Sunday morning. At approximately 1:35 a.m. on September 22, Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 5300 block of Eastern Avenue, where they found an overturned Ford pickup truck. Preliminary reports indicate that the vehicle struck a light pole and a tree before overturning. The driver was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. BALTIMORE, MD — A 16-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the August 31 shooting of a 26-year-old man in Baltimore’s Southern District, police confirmed. The shooting occurred in the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road, where the victim was shot and later sought treatment at a local hospital. He was listed in stable condition. Following an investigation, an arrest warrant for the teenage suspect was approved on September 11, and he was taken into custody on September 13.
