BALTIMORE, MD — The death of 6-year-old Brian Graham has led to the arrest of his mother, 34-year-old Jalesia Offer, and her boyfriend, 34-year-old Brandon Wheatley. The Medical Examiner’s office ruled the child’s death a homicide caused by blunt force trauma. On Wednesday night, patrol officers from the Northwest District responded to a report of an unresponsive child at a home on Greenspring Avenue. The child was transported to a hospital where he later passed away. Offer and Wheatley have been charged with first-degree child abuse resulting in death and are currently being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in Northeast D.C. last month. On Friday, July 12, at approximately 2:52 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1500 block of Benning Road, Northeast. OCEAN CITY, MD — A tragic accident on the Ocean City Boardwalk claimed the life of a 2-year-old boy Tuesday evening when he was struck by a tram near Dorchester Street. The incident occurred around 8:14 p.m., according to the Ocean City Police Department. The young child was crossing the Boardwalk tram pad when a southbound tram struck him. Despite efforts, the boy died at the scene. Both conductors of the tram remained on-site and are cooperating with the investigation.
