Officers patrolling the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at around 3:38 p.m. heard gunfire in the area. Upon arrival, they found the victim in the 1500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The incident occurred on Sunday, August 25, at approximately 10:17 p.m. in the 3200 block of 10th Street, Northeast.
