NEW MARKET, MD— A double homicide that occurred Sunday in New Market has been described by Frederick County Sheriff Chuck Jenkins as a “rage killing by an angry, enraged person.” The victims, Crimea Malita Baker, 33, of New Market, and Sean Antoine Lange, 34, of Arlington, Virginia, were found shot more than 40 times in a bed at Baker’s home on Mandalong Court. Sheriff Jenkins confirmed that the victims were in a relationship and that Lange had been living at the house for several days. WASHINGTON, D.C.— Authorities are asking for the community’s assistance in identifying two suspects and a vehicle involved in burglaries of three businesses in Northwest Washington. The incidents occurred early Tuesday morning, August 27, when the suspects broke into businesses in the 3500 block of Connecticut Avenue, Northwest, around 2:26 a.m. After breaking windows to gain entry, the suspects stole property and cash before fleeing the scene in a vehicle. BALTIMORE, MD— A 17-year-old male from Baltimore County has been arrested in connection with an armed carjacking that occurred on August 7 in the 3400 block of Greenmount Avenue. The suspect, along with accomplices, allegedly approached a 42-year-old victim, demanding his vehicle and implying they were armed. On August 27, Warrant Apprehension detectives located the juvenile at his home in Middle River and arrested him without incident. The teen was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged as an adult with carjacking.

The investigation resulted in the seizure of a loaded handgun. BALTIMORE, MD— The Baltimore Police Department has arrested 51-year-old Johnnie Teague, the guardian of 16-year-old Jibreal Payne, in connection with the teenager’s death. A warrant for Teague’s arrest was approved on August 27th, and he was taken into custody without incident the following day at his home on the 400 block of North Clinton Street. Teague has been charged with first-degree murder after the Medical Examiner’s Office determined that Payne’s death, which occurred on January 27, was the result of injuries sustained that day.
