WASHINGTON, D.C. — A homicide investigation is underway after police discovered an unconscious man in Northeast Washington on Wednesday afternoon. The incident occurred on August 28 at approximately 3:15 p.m. in the 3200 block of 9th Street, Northeast. Officers arriving at the scene found an adult male who was pronounced dead on-site. The body was then transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy revealed that the cause of death was a gunshot wound. The death has been officially ruled a homicide. Ms. Eyler was last seen on July 5, 2024, in the 1900 block of Clifton Avenue. Her current clothing description is unknown. She is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, with a tattoo on her right wrist that reads “Aiden” and another on her left forearm that reads “Ely” surrounded by a flower.
