UTICA, NY – The Utica Police Department responded to a shots-fired incident at 1400 Genesee St on Monday at approximately 9:00 PM. A bullet had traveled through a wall into an adjacent apartment, causing a hole but injuring no one. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and engaged with individuals in both apartments. UTICA, NY — On Saturday, Utica Police officers responded to a “Shotspotter” alert of gunfire in front of a residence on the 1600 block of Seymour Avenue. Police officers discovered three .40 caliber spent shell casings in front of the residence. No persons were injured, and no property damage was identified.
