WILKES-BARRE, PA – The Wilkes-Barre City Police were involved in an incident of public intoxication early Wednesday morning. On the early hours of Wednesday at 1:29 a.m., officers were patrolling the 500 block of Blackman Street when they observed 54-year-old John Wolfe of Wilkes-Barre, PA, standing in the middle of the roadway. Wolfe appeared to be manifestly under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, posing a danger to himself. Authorities quickly took Wolfe into custody due to his condition.
