PHILADELPHIA, PA – A 20-year-old man was fatally shot this afternoon on the Unit block of East Armat Street. The incident, which involved multiple gunshot wounds to the upper chest, occurred at 2:04 PM. Police arrived swiftly at the scene and transported the victim, a black male, to Albert Einstein Medical Center. Despite prompt medical attention, he was pronounced dead at 2:50 PM. NEW YORK, NY – An 89-year-old woman was assaulted on Wednesday morning near Seventh Avenue and West 11th Street. ST. LOUIS, MO — A Missouri firefighter could be sentenced to up to five years in prison after pleading guilty to charges related to the theft and misuse of a credit card from a crash victim. Arnold Britt, 41, admitted to receiving stolen property and fraudulent use of a credit/debit device, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office announced.
