ALEXANDRIA, VA — On Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 12:26 a.m., Alexandria Police officers responded to a hit-and-run incident at the intersection of Duke and Jordan Streets. A juvenile male was struck by a blue sedan while walking north across Duke Street. The vehicle briefly stopped before fleeing the scene. The Alexandria Police Department (APD) Crash Reconstruction Team conducted an investigation, interviewing witnesses and reviewing dashcam footage provided by a passing motorist.
