BRONX, NY—A Bronx man, Johnnie Vickers, 42, has been sentenced to 20 years to life in prison for the fatal stabbing of an acquaintance, 23-year-old Adam Saunders. Bronx Supreme Court Justice Jeffrey M. Zimmerman handed down the sentence today following a jury’s guilty verdict on April 19 for first-degree manslaughter. Towson, MD – Baltimore County Police Homicide detectives have arrested Deandre Stokes, 27, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on July 1. At approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from the Dundalk Precinct responded to the 7700 block of Gough St. for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Jamel Nation with multiple gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced Nation deceased at the scene.
