NEW YORK, NY — An off-duty New York City employee was arrested and charged in the 7th Precinct on Friday. Sylvia Brown, a 54-year-old NYPD School Safety Agent, was taken into custody at 11:57 AM. BROOKLYN, NY — A robbery attempt early Friday morning left a 33-year-old man injured in Brooklyn. At approximately 4:00 AM, the victim was in front of 574 Marcy Avenue when an unknown individual approached him, demanded his property, and punched him multiple times while attempting to take his backpack. The assailant fled eastbound on Myrtle Avenue. The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull in stable condition, suffering from multiple lacerations. QUEENS, NY — Police are investigating an assault that occurred on a Q53 bus on Sunday afternoon. At approximately 1:30 PM, a 37-year-old male was aboard the bus near 101 Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard when he was approached by two unknown individuals.
