JERSEY CITY, NJ – Darius Evans, 49, has been sentenced to 16 years in New Jersey State Prison for the fatal stabbing of Tyrone Haskins on January 1, 2021. The Honorable John A. Young issued the sentence on Thursday. Evans, a resident of Jersey City, entered a guilty plea to one count of Aggravated Manslaughter on May 21. Utica, NY- In late August, Utica Police took a report from a victim alleging that an individual who was helping her in her home had stolen her credit card and made close to 20 transactions, resulting in over $1,300 in losses. Brown announced on Thursday that no charges will be filed in the fatal police-involved shooting of Sha-Kim Webley, which occurred in January in Baltimore County.
