WILKES-BARRE, PA – Authorities in Wilkes-Barre took a local man into custody early Friday morning following a routine traffic stop that revealed an outstanding warrant. At approximately 12:49 AM on Friday, officers executed a traffic stop near South Main Street and Public Square. The operator of the vehicle, identified as Renard Johnson, 61, from Wilkes-Barre, was found to have an active arrest warrant.
