BRONX, N.Y. — A man was fatally shot early Saturday morning outside a residence on Evergreen Avenue, according to police. Officers from the 43rd Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at approximately 3:25 a.m. in front of 1186 Evergreen Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
