Washington, D.C. – In a call for public assistance, the D.C. Metro Police Department is searching for a suspect involved in a morning robbery at a shopping center.
The incident took place on Sunday, July 14, around 8:30 a.m., at the 3100 block of 14th Street, Northwest. According to reports, the suspect approached the victim from behind, stole items directly from the victim’s pockets, and then fled. Surveillance footage capturing the suspect is available for review.
Authorities urge anyone who recognizes the suspect or has any information about the robbery to contact the police at (202) 727-9099 or to text tips to the Department’s TEXT TIP LINE at 50411. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect involved in this crime.
