At Yale, he was an editor of the Yale Law Journal and president of the Yale Law Veterans Association. His memoir, “Hillbilly Elegy,” which outlines the struggles of America’s working class, became a bestseller and was adapted into a film.
Trump praised Vance’s dedication to American workers and farmers and emphasized his successful career in technology and finance.
