BALTIMORE, MD – On Sunday afternoon, Northwest District officers responded to a call regarding an assault at a business in the 4600 block of Liberty Heights.
Upon arrival at approximately 4:15 p.m., officers were informed that a suspect had entered the business and attempted to steal items. The suspect assaulted a security guard who confronted him. Officers disseminated a description of the suspect, leading a patrol officer to locate and arrest the 29-year-old male in the vicinity.
The suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility (CBIF) and will face charges related to the incident.
The suspect’s name was not released by the BPD.
