CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Salisbury man is the second person to be charged in a Charlotte murder, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department reports.
On Thursday, Feb. 13, CMPD and the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Travaree D’Von Miller in connection with the death of 33-year-old Diondre Bittle last December.
Miller, who lives in Salisbury, is charged with the following:
- Murder
- Armed Robbery
- Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery
He appeared in court on Friday and is being held without bond at the Mecklenburg Detention Center.
Just after 9:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30, officers were called to the 8200 block of Dave McKinney Avenue, where they found 33-year-old Diondre Bittle shot. He died before he could be taken to a hospital.
According to arrest warrants, Bittle’s black 2014 Mercedes-Benz C250 was taken at gunpoint.
On Thursday, Jan. 2, Sabrina Nayeele Roth, 35, of Concord, was arrested. She faces the same charges as Miller and is also being held without bond.
