CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man is facing a slew of charges including attempted murder after firing shots into a moving vehicle, according to the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office.
Marquel James Jackson, 29, of Lenoir, was arrested near a home on Hickory Blvd in Hudson on Saturday, Feb. 8, stemming from an investigation led by the Hickory Police Department.
Jackson attempted to run away from the scene before he was taken into custody.

Jackson was wanted on several serious charges including attempted murder, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, and discharging a weapon into a moving vehicle.
In addition to the charges filed out of Hickory, Jackson was charged with resisting arrest in Caldwell County. He’s currently being held without bond on the Hickory charges.
