CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Several Charlotte-area school districts have altered schedules Thursday, Jan. 22, following the snow this week and continued frigid overnight temperatures. 

Here are the districts with delays or closures: 

North Carolina

Anson County Schools: Remote learning 

Ashe County Schools: Two-hour delay

Avery County Schools: Two-hour delay

Cabarrus County Schools: Two-hour delay 

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools: Two-hour delay 

Kannapolis City Schools: Two-hour delay

Richmond County Schools: Remote learning 

Rowan-Salisbury Schools: Two-hour delay

Stanly County Schools: Remote learning 

Union County Public Schools: Two-hour delay 

United Faith Christian Academy: One-hour delay

Watauga County Schools: Two-hour delay

South Carolina 

Chester County School District: Two-hour delay 

Chesterfield County Schools: All schools & offices closed

Clover School District: One-hour delay 

Lancaster County School District: Closed; e-learning day
