MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) – A man was arrested for DWI after an injury-causing collision in Marshall on Wednesday.

The Marshall Police Department said 22-year-old Pablo Villa was arrested on Wednesday after a traffic crash in the 5900 block of East End Blvd South.
When MPD officers arrived at the collision involving two vehicles, they learned Villa attempted to flee the crash scene on foot. Officers arrested him and charged him with driving while intoxicated and causing a collision with injury.
He was released from the Harrison County Jail on Thursday after posting a total bond of $12,000.
The department reminds all drivers to avoid the dangers of impaired driving. Motorists are also reminded that Texas law requires you to remain on the scene of an accident, render aid to the injured and provide law enforcement and the other driver with pertinent information related to the incident.
