CONCORD, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A search is underway for a missing man who hasn’t been seen since February 1, according to the Concord Police Department.
Kent Reid, 67, of Concord, was last seen around 11 a.m. at the Rider Transit Center in Concord getting onto a bus bound for Charlotte.
Police said he was planning to go to Charlotte to get a copy of his birth certificate and never returned home. Reid is known to frequent the Tryon area of Charlotte.
According to the family, Reid has schizophrenia and is not currently taking his medication.
He was last seen wearing a black and gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and black Nike sneakers. He is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds, police said.
