CARTHAGE, Texas (KETK) – The Panola County Sheriff’s Office said they found multiple cases of promethazine during a traffic stop on Wednesday.
At around 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday, Corporal Mojica and K9 Zago with the sheriff’s office conducted a traffic stop in the 4200 block of Loop 436 north of Carthage.
Zago reportedly alerted on the vehicle and during a search, multiple cases of prescription promethazine were found.
Ariunna Temple, 25 of Texarkana, and Brandon Farris, 27 of Texarkana, were both arrested for possesion of a dangerous drug.
Farris was released from the Panola County Jail on Thursday after posting a $5,000 bond. Temple was also released from the Panola County Jail on Thursday after she posted a $1,000 bond.
