TYLER, Texas (KETK) – Tyler Junior College’s Vision Care Clinic is opening up to the public during February and March to offer $70 eye exams and discounted eyeglasses.
TJC said this clinic provides a valuable learning experience for ophthalmic medical assisting students who are working towards certification to become assistants in the vision care industry.
The clinic will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Feb. 4 to March 13. It’s located in room 138 of the Rogers Nursing and Health Sciences Center at 1200 E. Fifth Street on TJC’s central campus.
The college said that eye exams are available by appointment with Dr. Bryan Frazier from 12:45 to 3 p.m. on Thursdays. To learn more or to schedule an appointment, call 903-510-2020 or email VisionClinic@TJC.edu.
