Amani Miles, the Bowie State Bulldogs’ chief football equipment manager, unfortunately died on January 21, 2025, at the age of 23. She participated actively in a number of student organizations at the university, including the Bowie State Cab Street Team and the Bowie State Circle K International.
It has not yet been revealed what caused the death. Friends claim that Amani’s presence uplifted and inspired everyone in her vicinity.
Born on January 3, 2002, in Silver Spring, Maryland, Amani Miles was a student at Bowie State University.
In addition, she worked as the Head Football Equipment Manager at Bowie State University from 2020 to 2024 while pursuing a business administration degree with a marketing specialization.
Additionally, the loss of Miles, a cherished member of the student support team, is keenly felt by Bowie State Athletics.
Unfortunately, Amani Miles’ mother passed away last year. She was raised by her mother and stepfather. Amani Miles was born in Maryland to an unidentified father and Zakiyyah Blackwood. However, Amani Miles’s mother later remarried after her parents separated when she was a little child. Amani’s siblings were an elder sister named Emoni and a younger sister named Diala Miles. Amani was the middle kid.
She got along well with her stepfather, Elton Scott, who constantly supported her and was proud of her. Zakiyyah Blackwood, Amani’s mother, died on September 30, 2023, at the age of 47.
