PALESTINE, Texas (KETK) – Switch Brick-Oven Pizza & Wine Bar, a local restaurant in Palestine, was broken into at 1:03 a.m. on Saturday. Video cameras inside the restaurant were able to capture footage of the robbery taking place.
The owners of the restaurant, Carmen and Regina Santore, posted the 56-second video of footage they received on their restaurant’s Facebook account. Along with the video, the Santore’s posted a statement on their Facebook urging followers to report any information they might have.
The couple thanked their patrons for their continued support saying, “your support means everything to us, and we’re so grateful to be part of such a caring community. Thank you for helping us through this difficult time.”
However, any credit cards that have been left at the restaurant over the years were also stolen. Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call the Palestine Police Department at (903)729-2254 or the Anderson County Crime Stoppers at (903)729-8477.
