CHARLOTTE (PINPOINT WEATHER) — The heavy storm rolling through Mecklenburg, Gaston and surrounding counties has impacted flights at the Charlotte airport.
According to flightaware.com, there are currently 512 delays and 28 cancellations.
Meanwhile, according to Duke Energy, 12,000 people are without power around Charlotte and another 1,000 are without power near Clover and Lake Wylie.
Despite the gloomy start to the day, temperatures are warming up this morning towards the 50s and 60s. A milder pattern takes shape as you step outdoors.
