A suspect accused of a shooting that left a man severely injured has been arrested after nearly a month on the run. The incident occurred on March 25, 2025, when a 32-year-old man was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the 200 block of West 61st Street in Savannah, Georgia. The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
Following an intensive investigation, Savannah Police identified 34-year-old Leearnell Williams as the primary suspect. Williams was arrested on October 25, 2024, and charged with murder and aggravated assault in connection with the shooting. He was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held without bond.
